Skim - Adding Comments on Mac PDFs

EdTech

This evening, I scanned a document in GNU/Linux, emailed it to myself
and found that I couldn’t open it as a PDF on my Mac OS Tiger with
Preview, a built-in viewer for pdfs and a variety of other document
types. In my search for a solution (which I didn’t find), I stumbled
upon this gem of a program—SKIM.

As far as I could tell, though, the comments aren’t attached to the
PDF—or don’t appear—UNLESS you’re using SKIM to view the PDF. Bummer.
