Wasting Money on #iPad Cases
If you’re like me (and I hope you’re not, especially in this case), you’ve probably spent a fortune trying to find the right iPad case/keyboard combo. It’s a personal choice and I wish I’d spent more time reflecting on this before I plunged in and bought anything.
So, here are the cover/keyboard/cases I’ve tried:
-
The standard Apple cover ($40)- As others have said eloquently, this is a waste of money. No back cover for the iPad, although it’s slim and can fold into a stand.
-
The Logitech Zagg keyboard ($64 is what I paid for it) - I really loved this keyboard until my iPad almost plunged to its death as I was walking from one part of the house to another (I caught it). And, as slim as it is, it’s still a mite bulky given the bag I carry my iPad in.
-
Some other cases include these:
I’ve also wished for a chance to try this one out but it is so doggone expensive:
- Clamcase for iPad ($149)
Fortunately, I’ve stumbled on one that looks like it might fit the bill…a principal was using it and the Airbender seemed so versatile, I’m tempted.
- New Trent Airbender Keyboard Case ($59.95)
